Road Trip
We visited my husbands Aunt at her new house this weekend. She lives in the country ... to be honest, it is sort of the middle of no where.. but pretty middle of no where!
The boys had a blast chasing field mice, chasing each other, frolicking through out the grass. They most definately need a bath now!

Why I Love Reno

Brandon and I were driving along this weekend when a full-grown man rode past us on a child-sized bicycle... wearing a fringed, suede jacket. At first we just watched him drive on by with out questioning it.... then we both started laughing and Brandon commented on how upset he was that he forgot to wear HIS fringed, suede jacket today!
The funny thing is .. this is a normal observation in the streets of Reno.......proof that Casinos are evil beasts causing people to go insane! (so far we have escaped their evil clutches and still leave our fringed jackets at home when we decided to ride our pint-sized bikes down Kietzke!)
I managed to snap a pic with my camera phone .. to share this loony-ness with everyone

Shit...everywhere
Oh geez. T has had diarrhea since Tuesday. No blood or anything.. and he was at doggy day care for the weekend as we were out of the house and wouldn't be able to attend to them.. so since they like doggy day care... off they went to get lots of exercise.
Sunday his stools were fine.. monday they were a little slimy but fine. Tuesday ... they gushed out of his ass.
Wednesday, T managed to shit in his crate in between 8am and lunch time ... and of course... he ate it and threw it back up. Would you have expected anything less? Funny thing .. there were still actual formed poops smashed up against his crates.. not the runny diarrhea.
Thursday... the day I should have busted my butt to get home for lunch, and I was unable to take a lunch break, but I was able to get home at 4pm. Nothing. Both boys were little angels in their crates all day with out a potty break... they rarely go all day in their crates like that so I was impressed.
T's appetite is still up and running and he plays bitey face and bt500 like usual.
Thursday night .. 1am (I guess technically this morning 1am).... We woke up to T peeing by our bed. (never does this.. but it seemed to just be a warning of things to come ....) So we got up and got ready to take the pups outside on a cold snowy night.
That is when it happend. Explosive, wandering, diarreah! He just hunched over and squirted away to his little heart's content.... looking up at us like.. "Seriously, I don't have opposoble thumbs! I couldn't open the door!"
Thank god for the steam cleaner we purchased about 2 weeks ago. We gagged our way through sopping up the majority and picking up the chunks... then had the steam cleaner do the rest of the work.
After that... hubby made the (cough ..stupid..cough) executive decision to put both boys in their respective crates .. on the linoleum in our kitchen (easier to clean up a mess) for the rest of the night.
Stupid stupid move.
We woke up @ 5:30 am like usual but to howling and screeching. We opened the bedroom door and immediately smelled that all too familiar smell. This time... F just pooped in his crate.. and someone pee'd outside of their crate.. T ate and threw up ... God only knows.. there were some NASTY ASS SHIT all over the dogs, the kitchen cabinets.. everything!
This picture doesn't do it justice...
Anyway.. hubby took today off work. We canceled our road trip to visit hubby's Aunt & 90 year old Grandfather (with the dogs) .. and are calling the vet ASAP.
Funny thing .. both boys act completely normal. Ugh. I hate this.....
