Nestlé Toulouse

*Kudos to those of you who get the title reference.

I must say, out of ALL of the different desserts I've had, (in all my 26 years) chocolate chip cookies would still have to be my favorite dessert.

I'm not talking fancy-schmancy chocolate chip cookies either. The ones I crave and love come from the simple recipe on the the back of the Nestle Tollhouse Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips bag.

The best part about making cookies.... is of course the dough! (PS... totally tried to find a non-pornariffic shot of me licking the beater... this was the best I could do... sorry. Before this, I had no idea licking something as innocent as cookie dough off of a beater could look so graphic.)

As usual, whenever I'm in the kitchen (regardless of the reason) I have company.....

...just waiting for a tasty morsel to fall on the floor to then be gobbled up with out so much as a single sniff or chew. The floor is of course, his turf. Or so he thinks.

Yum, chocolate chip cookies are my favorite! I like them with about half the amount of chocolate chips, so there is plenty of cookie. I also like to mix white chocolate and milk chocolate chips.

I have that same mixer and different dogs that watch me in the kitchen.

Hello porn-Emilypie!

I have that mixer too! But I like LOTS of chocolate chips, less cookie. Mmmmm, salivating.

Those look delicious!! MMMmmm Maybe I'll bake some tomorrow! I'm soooo jealous of your mixer! Also the only thing that your title makes me think of is the friends episode where Monica and Pheobe try to figure out her grama's recipe!

Well, Kudos to me.

Maybe you could make me some cookies since I get it?

Hmmm...those look yummy. I happen to have some birthday cake and Bluebell ice cream if you are looking to trade?

Your pictures make chocolate chip cooking-making into an artform!

P.s. I have the same mixer in silver. I got it as a wedding gift from my Grandma... its still in the box. I should probably get that out and start baking. Nah... I've got the rest of my life to be domestic. :-)

That dough looks yummy. Not much for the cookies but I sure love the dough!

I agree with you, those are the best chocolate chip cookies, best served warm right out of the oven. And have I told you lately how precious your pups are?

crazy...I made nestle tollhouse cookies yesterday too! however, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that mine have a mystery grab-bag assortment of chips (white chocolate, milk chocolate, butterscotch & dark chocolate)...all leftovers from bags I opened but never finished off. my husband won't let me open a new bag until this (gallon-sized) ziplock bag of mystery chips is used up...tear.

I have been craving chocolate chip cookies for something like two weeks now. Maybe more. I still haven't done anything about it. This? Did not help. =P

ohhh, yes, cookie dough is THE BEST. Sometimes I make "cookies" just so we can have the dough-- we don't even bake them. my husband and I are huge fans. Have you ever made it into little balls and kept it in the freezer? It's like eating only the best part of cookie-dough ice cream-- perfect for grabbing whenever that craving hits.
I love that Friends episode, by the way. :)
