PhotoPie - Week 7

**This may be a tad early, but hey, it is midnight, and therefore FRIDAY on the east coast. I just got some things to do tomorrow, yo.

For shizzle ya'll! Way to give the guest PhotoPie Challenge more attention that mine a warm welcome. You guys really came out of the wood work on that challenge! Makes me so proud. *Blushes*

So, besides the fact that she's insanely crazy devoted to the PhotoPie challenge, and sure, she's pretty damn cool and has two of the cutest pups around... not even mentioning her mad photo skillz... I chose Ashley to guest post the Week 6 PhotoPie challenge for ANOTHER. More Important. Reason.

"What is that reason, Dear, Sweet, Incredibly HOT, EmilyPie? Please tell us!"

Well, since you asked so nicely....

Ashley and I have been working (since the beginning of the PhotoPie Challenge!) to bring you something bigger and better when it comes to the weekly photo challenge. OK, so it was Ashley's brain child and her fabulous husband, Chris, has been coding his little fingers to the bone trying to design it. I've mostly sat back in a comfy chair answering emails,"Ooh yes. I like that color" or "Here is my measly four paragraph contribution to your brilliant site... "

The site is pretty awesome. I'm so excited to be a part of it. Like I said above, it will be focused around the Weekly Photo Challenge we've been doing for the past SIX WEEKS! (Yay Us.) You will be able to upload your (one per person) photo challenge submission straight to our site! You will get the code to then post your picture on your site with a link linking back to the main challenge. Pretty cool, huh!? People will be able to vote on favorite submissions and every now and then... we may even have prizes... I know right? About dang time. We've been doing all of this for nothing! ... yeah yeah. But we've met so many wonderful people through this challenge, haven't we?

But wait, there's more.... there will also be interviewed photographers, featured photographers, regular articles/product reviews geared towards the amateur photographer. We want everyone to feel comfortable there, regardless of what camera you shoot with or how much you know about lighting ... blah blah blah. Everyone who has the slightest bit of interest in photography can enjoy the site .. and share their chosen weekly photos with others!

The site should be launched later this month. I'll give you more info once it is up.

In the mean time, we have a PhotoPie Challenge to get to! In honor of all the hard work Ashley an Chris have been putting into this project and all the time they've spent at their computers... I want to see where YOU blog/edit photos/read this site (wink, wink). Show me your work station... where ever it may be, at work, in your home office, or maybe on the couch? Try to get a tad bit creative though, maybe an odd angle, interesting lighting, or just a glimpse of something you work on.

I posted this photo of a glimpse of a keyboard, along with a series of shots I took at work, way back in November.
